Careers
We are not hiring right now.
Rather than leave this page empty or list roles that do not exist, here is the honest position and what to do if you want to be considered when it changes.
No open roles
TecZila is a small, new company. There is no hiring budget and no vacancy, and we are not going to advertise one to look bigger.
When that changes
What we would be looking for.
Useful to know now, because it is unlikely to change much:
- Explaining well matters as much as building well. Most of this work is making technology understandable to someone who did not ask to think about it.
- Breadth over depth, at least at first. A small technology partner needs people who can move between a DNS record, a piece of copy and a workflow in the same afternoon.
- Willing to say the uncomfortable thing. Telling a client not to buy something is part of the job, not an exception to it.
- Careful with other people's systems. We hold administrative access to businesses that depend on it. That is a responsibility before it is a convenience.
Contractors and specialists
We do work with people project by project.
Development, design, content and specialist technical work. If that is you, we are genuinely interested in knowing you exist before we need you — the alternative is scrambling when something lands.
Everyone who works on client systems signs written confidentiality terms and appears on our public sub-processor register where relevant. We disclose who has access before a client signs, not after.
A short note about what you do and a link to your work is plenty. We read everything and reply to anything specific, though it may not be quickly while there is nothing open.
