Using this site

You are welcome to read it, share links to it, quote it with attribution, and use anything we publish to improve your own business — including doing the work yourself rather than hiring us.

Please do not: attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape at a volume that degrades the site for others, submit forms automatically, misrepresent yourself, or use the site to send anything unlawful.

Our content

The text, design, code, brand assets and images on this site belong to us or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law.

You may quote from articles for commentary, review or teaching, with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial portions as your own, or use our name or logo in a way implying endorsement or partnership.

What you send us

When you submit a form, you keep ownership of what you send. You grant us permission to use it to respond to you and deliver what you asked for. How we handle it is set out in the privacy policy.

Please do not send confidential information through a web form before there is an agreement in place. If something is sensitive, say so and we will arrange a better route.

Accuracy

We write carefully and correct things when we get them wrong. But technology changes quickly, pricing and features of third-party products change without notice, and general guidance is not advice about your specific situation.

Where we publish third-party prices — in the cost comparison, for instance — those are typical published figures at the date shown, gathered in good faith. Verify anything you are about to make a decision on.

Nothing on this site is legal, financial or tax advice.

Links elsewhere

We link to other sites where they are useful, including our customers'. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
